2019 Tempranillo
Tasting notes
Quite impressive, with notes of dried fruits, tobacco and persistent gravelly tannins.
Production notes
Fermented in 1.5 Ton bins.
Tempranillo is known for bracing tannin and lack of fruit - both factors are considered during the winemaking process - what to focus on and what to mitigate. Balance was sought here, focusing on a rich and earthy wine that will stand up to time in a bottle. Extremely limited quantities produced - 4 barrels.
